This is an introduction to translation and interpretation studies for Master’s level graduate students. It has practical applications, but it is more explicitly research and theory oriented. It is team taught by Darryl Sterk, who will cover translation studies in the first half of the course, and Damien Fan, who will cover interpretation studies in the second half. We believe that translation and interpretation studies is about people, not talky talk in a book, and so invited speakers will play a crucial role in this course.
